Accessibility

No matter how old your browser software—you can use this website. It may well look different in some older browsers, and will appear as mostly text in very old browsers (like Netscape 4, or Internet Explorer 5.x for Macintosh)—but the information will be the same, and so are the links on our web site.

Should you want to customise your browser software to help with accessibility needs, you may find the BBC web page ‘my web my way’ useful.

Where possible, the information on our site is conventional text. For your benefit though, many of our longer documents are published in Adobe PDF format. These documents can be read on all major operating systems with the free Adobe Reader software.

Links to PDF documents on this site either open a new browser window or are downloaded to your computer. Please be aware that references to web sites within our PDF documents may take you to a third-party web sites. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

If you have any difficulties using our website or have suggestions for improvements, please email us.
