Peter is the founding Managing Director of Bannister Bates Property Lawyers. Prior to this he was the Managing Partner of Bannister Bates Solicitors for 20 years, having first qualified as a Solicitor at a leading city firm in Manchester. Throughout his career Peter has specialised in complex commercial transactions and the development of a large residential estate department of new build sites and plot disposal for large national and international construction companies. He also has an in depth knowledge and expertise in hotel and leisure park sales/purchases and agricultural land transactions.

Louise originates from the Midlands and qualified as a Solicitor at a leading firm in Manchester specialising in civil litigation, dispute resolution and employment law. Shortly after marrying Peter she joined Bannister Bates solicitors and soon became a partner. For the last 12 years Louise has specialised in the development and expansion of the residential new build plot sale and purchase department, successfully expanding this department and enhancing its reputation. On the creation of the new company Louise joined Peter as a fellow director and continues to oversee the new build development department.

Sarah was born in Liverpool but has resided in the Morecambe Bay area for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in residential conveyancing having worked for local firms in the area for many years. She joined Bannister Bates in 2004 and over the years has built up an in depth knowledge of the local area and our clients. She has a strong track record of excellence and carefully guiding clients through their transactions smoothly and efficiently

Susan was born in the area and has worked with Bannister Bates firstly as a paralegal in the Estate Development Department for many years and then qualified as a conveyancer in 2009 Susan now heads her team in the new build plot sales department and works alongside Emma to deliver an efficient and smooth service to commercial /estate development clients
